Week 10 - Jelly Cat

So I went shopping with the girls. One has kids, the other has nephews. Yet somehow it's always me that walks out of the kids' stores with something cute and fluffy.

The worst part is that I looked up the brand (www.jellycat.com) and they have them in lots more colours and sizes. And different animals. And free shipping. Which is why in a couple of weeks I will add a chocolate bunny, a pale pink bunny and a polar bear to my collection. Oops.

Week 9 - Anticipation

Bailey waiting to leave for work when we were looking after him. He looks so innocent, then he whinges the whole way there and back. It's a good thing he's so cute.

Week 8 - Vulture Stalking

This photo to me is a kind of perfection. I haven't edited it at all except to crop it because I just love it the way it is. Slightly blue because that's Nikon for you, slightly underexposed with the glowing overexposed window, exit sign just sneaking into the top of the image. And a small furry person hiding behind something waiting for someone to make a move on his toy vulture. Funny dog.

Week 7 - Photojojo Dinosaurs

So I've missed a few weeks. It was going to happen eventually. I've still been taking photos but my Sundays have been rather busy of late. But I'll catch up, one post at a time.

This photo is from week 7. My favourite thing about Photojojo is that every order comes with one of these little plastic dinosaurs. I find it thoroughly amusing. Something about small things and small minds I'm sure. This is my collection so far.

Week 6 - Friday Afternoon

Trying to be creative on Friday afternoon and getting my new lens uncomfortably close to the ground in the process. It was this or a picture of jelly beans. Clearly it's been a big week for me.

Week 5 - Christmas!

I asked Santa for a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 lens for Christmas and he finally delivered! It's a lot heavier than my trusty Nikon 50mm 1.4 but it makes me look like a real photographer :p Might be time to invest in a camera bag.

Week 3 - Bailey

Bailey just started lying with his nose between his paws like this. Or maybe I just noticed him doing it. Either way, here's a cute photo of Bailey lying down with his nose between his paws.

And yes, Bailey is the most exciting thing I photographed this week. It's not the first time. And it won't be the last. Good thing he's cute.

Week 2 - Fluffy Seagull Butt

 Week 2! Only 50 weeks to go. :p

Spent the last few days in Hobart for a wedding. I was thoroughly amused by all the seagulls at the wharf so this week's photo is of a fluffy seagull butt.

IT'S SO FLUFFY!!!!!

Umm.. Yeah.

I still have to go through the rest of my photos so there may be more seagull photos on the way. They may or may not all be of their butts..

2014 Photography Project

Oh, hai! Happy New Year :)

So last year I tried to do two 365 projects which was kinda stupid. I got a few months in and had to drop one, then towards the end of the year I completely lost my motivation and started taking unfocused photos of the inside of my bag. Yes, I went there. At least I didn't have the motivation to share those ones.

So this year I'm going to post a blog and a photo every week on a Sunday 'cos I think that's something I can stay motivated about. Maybe. We'll see.
